FoEL Garden Bed Weeding

It's that time again... and we need your help! Let's get weeding!


On Sunday 21st September @ 8.00am - 11.30pm we will be rolling up our sleeves to get rid of the weeds!

We’ll be weeding at the following location;

We will be providing a quick run-down of the tasks, some weeding 101 tips and be able help with Weed ID.


If you do wish to participate in the weeding, please ensure that you;


1. Bring your own gloves
2. Wear suitable sturdy, closed toed shoes, long sleeves and long pants. A must for weeding!
3. Are sun smart with a hat, protective clothing and sunscreen
4. Register your details via the QR Code when you arrive (name and phone number etc.)
5. Do not enter tall grass. Tall grass can hold hidden dangers such as holes and snakes. You may also risk stepping, crushing and possibly killing smaller reptiles and amphibians who may call the tall grass home
6. Remember to take before and after photos of the areas you weed!
7. Bring your can-do attitude

3. Ensue you have drinking water

All ages and abilities welcome! There is no expectation to stay for the length of time you wish to weed for, every bit helps! We'll have the tools and gloves.
